CCC on the Scene with the Jeremy Landis Band

Mix a group of 6 people together and some good music what are you going to get most likely a good dance party.  While you are at it you might as well set up your Camera and record the fun going down.

This was shot with a 2 light set up, a blanket, and some white tile board.

We had more fun then we can handle on this shoot.  The greatest part of the entire evening was watching people do there dance behind the sheet and all spectators that were wondering what was going on in this garage music video venue.

We look forward to shooting more and more music video, with much bigger productions.

Help Portrait Fort Collins - 12.11.2010

On Dec. 11th Help Portrait Fort Collins came alive.  Carbon Copy Cartel was able to use its resources and talents gathering 6 other photographers.  40 other volunteers and pull together to serve 267 people and 42 families.

Take a look at our day, we came in with smiles.  We left with even bigger smiles, tears, and humility.

Thank you Homeless gear for letting us use your facilities.

Hey!!

Lately, I have been really- and I mean REALLY busy... thus, I haven't been able to put up recent shots because, well... I haven't had time to look through them. Lame excuse I know... But here's a few recent shots that I have been able to look at that a couple of Sbux coffees, a few banana chocolate coffee cake's and Pandora on the headphones have all helped in aiding a little bit of cafe and editing time!

Commercial Shot:

I really enjoyed this shot because of how it captures the essence of T.A.P.S - an organization we shot for that serves as a tool for kids with fallen family members while on duty in service to our country. Thanks to many who helped make this shoot a success.

Much kudos to these guys for moving this Black Hawk around for us!

CrazyBooth: Golden/Brunn Wedding!!

Aaron and I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Will & Nichole Golden. Let me tell you- It was ALOT of fun! One of the things we both consistently noticed was how these two have such a great friendship with each other. It was especially evident in the friendships and loving atmosphere of those at the wedding!

One thing that (oddly enough) seems to be forgotten at weddings is the celebration aspect. THIS was far from forgotten! This was a celebration of Will & Nichole, their new-found commitment to each other AND their friendships! If you missed this wedding, you missed something soooo crazy, sooo fun, sooo loving, sooo beautiful... the new Mr. & Mrs. Golden.

Before we start leaking photos of the wedding... Here are photo's from the infamous CrazyBooth.... Here's a sample of how crazy this night was.... so much so that the white backdrop need not be used to frame the shots!!

Adventure Girl!! ...or so is the working title... :)

Hey!

So, I'm super excited about this new project we're working on featuring professional make-up stylings of Margaret Taylor, our main character Lauren Ward and our Carbon Copy Cartel team!

Basically, the idea is to create a story of cinematic quality with only 8-10 frames! So in a way, it's likened to more of a comic book quality- thus blending surrealism & photographic interpretations....

None of us have tried to create a story with a mere 8-10 frames before, but here we go!!!

Here's our first composite! This photo will eventually used as a billboard for one of the frames.

Meet Charlie!

I was lucky enough to hang out with Charlie as he was on his long trek home from Iraq. Literally walking from Nashville to Texas!

Nashville: Meet Glen! We got the chance to hang out with Glen for a while. He's bound by a wheel chair due to amputation of his right leg. Very soft spoken, but just as kind as can be! He remembered us from walking around the night before and as we approached him he said "Hey fellas, how's it going?" Being the last shot of the day- this was the perfect way to bring the night to a close.

Photoshoot With Author Brian Mclaren

Hey!

aaron and I had the pleasure of photographing Author Brian Mclaren in his lovely home a few weeks ago. Brian and his wife Grace are some of the most warm and inviting individuals I have ever met. You two are great!

"GIVING VISIBILITY TO THOSE LESSER KNOWN, and OPPORTUNITY TO THOSE ALREADY KNOWN"

We're getting ready to launch a new project called "Notables" . This will be an ongoing "journal" looking to tell the stories of different individuals who look to help our world be a better place-thus blurring the lines between those "more visible" - i.e. celebrity etc to those who may be "less visible". Our goal is to bring light and recognition to those known and unknown equally with the help of local and national sponsorship, newspapers/media magazines alike.

All in all, I want to tell a story with single frames or photographs. The stories that may be unrecognized or unknown- the stories of the everyday person... whether they are in the "media spotlight" or not.

Seattle!

Hey!

I just got back from Seattle, only to find myself in Nashville today! Busy week to say the least!
One of my favorite things to do is to meet up with friends and roam the streets of a city for an impromptu "man on the street" photo session. I can't get enough of meeting and hearing stories of new friends and people time in and time out. As always, my goal is to try and tell a story with my shots-  here's some  from Seattle!
